Avoyel stew
2lbs ground meat (beef,pork,turkey or mixture)
1 large onion
1 pkg dry taco seaoning
1 pkg dry ranch dressing mix
2 15-ounce cans whole kernel corn
2 15-ounce cans chili beans
1 15-ounce can black beans
1 15-ounce can red beans
2 15-cans diced tomatoes
1 can rotel tomatoes with green chilies
brown meat with onions. drain off fat. add contents of all cans, including liquids. add pkgs of taco mikx and ranch dressing mix. adjust seasoning, salt and pepper, if needed. simmer one hour.
this is a cheap meal that feeds a crowd and is super easy to make. I made it with homemade corn bread.
